Colour Blindness: How colour-blind population perceive/see colours
Procedure
Step 1: Choose or Upload an Image
- You will see a group of images displayed on the screen.
- Select one image from the options provided.
- Alternatively, if you want to use an image stored locally, you can upload your own image to use in the experiment.
Step 2: View the Image with Normal Vision
- Once an image is selected, it will first appear as it looks to someone with normal color vision.
Step 3: Explore Color Blindness Simulations
- Below the image, you will find three buttons, each representing a different type of color blindness:
- Protanopia: Displays how the image appears to someone with red-color blindness.
- Tritanopia: Displays how the image appears to someone with blue-color blindness.
- Color Blind: Displays the image as shades of gray, simulating complete color blindness.
- Click any of the buttons to view the selected image through that specific color-blind perspective.
Step 4: Repeat or Try Another Image
- Feel free to go back and select another image or upload a different one to explore more simulations.
