📋 Procedure

  1. Start the Simulation: Click "Start Sand Flow" to begin dropping sand particles through the double slits.
  2. Observe Particle Behavior: Watch as individual sand grains fall and pass through one slit or the other.
  3. Notice the Pattern: Observe how sand accumulates at the bottom, forming two distinct piles under each slit.
  4. Classical Behavior: Unlike waves, classical particles (sand) do not show interference - they simply pile up where they land.
  5. View the Graph: The intensity distribution graph on the right shows two peaks corresponding to each slit.
  6. Compare: This pattern is different from wave interference (Experiment 2) and quantum behavior (Experiment 3).
