Viscosity by stokes method

  1. Choose the object (glass ball/ copper ball) which has to be dropped through the liquid.
  2. Choose the viscous liquid (Glycerine/Water/Honey)
  3. Note down the diameter of the ball, density of the ball, density of the liquid, and distance between pointers A and B
  4. Click ‘Insert Ball’ button to place the the ball on top of the cylindrical column.
  5. Click ‘Drop the Ball’ button.
  6. Note down the time taken by the ball to reach the basement of the column (Pointer ‘B’).
  7. Click the ‘Result’ button to display the coefficient of viscosity of the selected liquid.
