Viscosity by stokes method
- Choose the object (glass ball/ copper ball) which has to be dropped through the liquid.
- Choose the viscous liquid (Glycerine/Water/Honey)
- Note down the diameter of the ball, density of the ball, density of the liquid, and distance between pointers A and B
- Click ‘Insert Ball’ button to place the the ball on top of the cylindrical column.
- Click ‘Drop the Ball’ button.
- Note down the time taken by the ball to reach the basement of the column (Pointer ‘B’).
- Click the ‘Result’ button to display the coefficient of viscosity of the selected liquid.
