Design of RC Isolated Footing with Axial Load

Procedure

Level 1:
  • Input the Working Load (P)
  • Specify the design value for concrete strength (fck)
  • Specify the design value for steel yield strength (fy)
  • Enter the column width (b)
  • Provide the column depth (h)
  • Input the Safe Bearing Capacity (SBC) of the soil
  • Enter the effective cover (d')
  • Once all the basic design parameters are entered, click on "Configure" to proceed
Level 2:
  • Calculate self weight , Total Load (kN), Area of Footing Af (m2) ,Lf, Bf, Soil Pressure wu
  • After calculation go to next Level
Level 3:
  • Calculate Mux, Muy, dx, dy and total depth
  • After calculation go to next Level
Level 4:
  • Calculate Astx and other different parameters with conditions and then calculate ptpercent
  • After calculation go to next Level
Level 5:
  • Similarly,calculate Asty and other different parameters with conditions and then calculate ptpercent
  • After calculation click on "Submit"
