Launching the Virtual Lab:

1. Download and install the VR Chemistry Lab application.
   
2. Connect and configure your VR headset and controllers.
   
3. Launch the “Qualitative Analysis” experiment.
   
4. Adjust headset settings for clear visuals.
   
   

Working of the Experiment:

1. Select the “Unknown Salt Sample” provided in the VR environment.
   
2. Perform preliminary tests:
   
   • Observe color and state of salt.
     
   • Carry out flame test for cations.
     
   • Check solubility in water or dilute acids.
     
3. Perform systematic group analysis:
   
   • Use group reagents (e.g., HCl, H₂SO₄, NaOH, NH₄OH, BaCl₂, AgNO₃)
     
   • Observe reactions like precipitate formation, dissolution, or color change.
     
4. Record observations and match with standard reaction tables given in VR.
   
5. Identify the unknown cation and anion present in the sample.
