Analyze the transfer function and pole-zero plot of a control system.

Procedure for the experiment is as follows:

1. Procedure: Select “To obtain poles, zeros and gain of transfer function”

1.1.1. User Input:

1.1.1.1. Firstly, adjust the values of the coefficients a, b and c of a numerator polynomial by sliding the slider.
1.1.1.2. Now adjust the values of coefficients p, q and r of a denominator polynomial by sliding the slider.
1.1.1.3. Press submit button to submit the values of coefficients of numerator and denominator polynomial.

1.1.2. Calculations:

1.1.2.1. Click on the run button to obtain number of zeroes.
1.1.2.2. Click on run button again to obtain number of poles.
1.1.2.3. Again, click on run button to get the generated transfer function for given coefficients.
1.1.2.4. On clicking the run button again, you will get calculated locations of pole, zero and gain values in calculation window.

1.1.3. Results:

1.1.3.1. Once more click on the run button “To plot the location of poles and zeros in s-plane in result section and Conclusions in conclusions section (bottom)”

1.2. Procedure: Select “ To obtain transfer function from poles, zeros and gain”

1.2.1. User Input:

1.2.1.1 Firstly, enter the location of Zeros Z1 and Z2 by scroll up or down.
1.2.1.2 Now enter the location of Poles P1 and P2 by scroll up and down.
1.2.1.3 Type the vale of gain in K block of user input section
1.2.1.4 Press submit button to submit the location of poles, zeros and gain of transfer function.

1.2.2 Calculations:

1.2.1.1. Click on the run button to obtain coefficients of a numerator and denominator polynomials in calculations window.
1.2.1.2. Click on run button again to obtain generated transfer function in calculations window.

1.2.3. Results:

1.2.1.3. Once more click on the run button “To plot the location of poles and zeros in s-plane in result section and Conclusions in conclusions section (bottom)”
