Assignment

  1. Calculate the carrier concentration for a P-type Germanium semiconductor of thickness 0.3 mm.
  2. Determine the Hall coefficient for a typical N-type Germanium semiconductor having thickness 0.5 mm.
  3. Determine the Hall coefficient for a typical N-type Germanium semiconductor having thickness 0.8 mm.
  4. Determine the Hall coefficients for an N-type and a P-type Germanium semiconductor having the same thickness.
  5. Show that the Hall coefficient of a material is independent of its thickness.
