Electronic spectra of conjugated dye and test of free electron model
Procedure in Simulation :
Step 1 -> Make yourself familiar with the instruments by hovering over them.
Step 2 -> Click on start button to start the experiment.
step 3 -> Turn -ON the spectrophotometer and wait for 30 minutes.
step 4 -> click on the flask to put prepared solution in cuvette.
step 5 -> click on beaker to fill solvent in refrence cuvette.
step 6 -> click on solution cuvette to kept in spectrophotometer.
step 7 -> click on refrence cuvette to kept in spectrophotometer.
step 8 -> close the cover of spectrophotometer.
step 9 -> Click on next button to record the graph.
step 10 -> Click on Auto Zero button.
step 11 -> Click on Baseline button.
step 12 -> Click on Start button.
step 13 -> Note the maximum wavelength of (Molecule 1).
step 14 -> click on Mol-2 button for Molucule 2.
step 15 -> Click on Auto Zero button.
step 16 -> Click on Baseline button.
step 17 -> Click on Start button.
step 18 -> Note the maximum wavelength of (Molecule 2).
step 19 -> click on Mol-3 button for Molucule 3.
step 20 -> Click on Auto Zero button.
step 21 -> Click on Baseline button.
step 22 -> Click on Start button.
step 23 -> Note the maximum wavelength of (Molecule 3).
step 24 -> Click next to view the Table.
step 25 -> Click End button to stop the Experiment.
