Application and usage of different types of filters on EEG signals.
EEG Signal Generation and Filtering Procedure:
STEP 1: Select an EEG Dataset from the dropdown menu. Choose the desired Brain Lobe for EEG recording and adjust the Duration and Sampling Rate sliders as required.
STEP 2: Click on the Generate EEG Signal button to visualize the original unfiltered EEG signal.
STEP 3: Configure the filter settings in the Filter Design section. Choose the Algorithm (IIR/FIR), select the Filter Type (Low-pass, High-pass, Band-pass, etc.), and set the required Cutoff Frequencies and Filter Order.
STEP 4: Click on the Apply Filter button to process the noisy EEG signal. Compare the Filtered EEG signal with the Original EEG signal to evaluate the filter’s performance.
STEP 5: Click on the Compute PSD button to visualize the Power Spectral Density (PSD) of the Unfiltered and Filtered signals. Observe the frequency components and compare the filter's effect on the signal's spectrum.
