Counters
The objective of this experiment is to design and analyze different counter circuits. You will be able to design synchronous counters, asynchronous counters, and specialized counting circuits.
- Binary Counters: Design basic up and down counting circuits using flip-flops
- BCD Counters: Implement decimal counting circuits that count from 0 to 9
- Ring Counters: Construct circular shift register counters for sequence generation
- Modulo-N Counters: Build custom counters with specific count sequences
Through this experiment, students will gain practical experience in sequential circuit design and understand the fundamental principles of digital counting systems implementation in hardware.
