Two Ray Model based Wireless Channel
Instructions
To understand the various perfomance characteristics of a two ray model based wireless channel, follow thesed steps:
- Enter the values of the distance between transmitter and receiver (r), the velocity at which the receiver is moving (v) and the frequency of the input signal(f).
- Click on calculate to observe the doppler spread and coherence time for case 01.
- Enter the values of the distance between transmitter and receiver (r), the distance between the transmitter and the obstacle (d) and the frequency of the input signal(f)./li>
- Click on calculate to observe the delay spread and coherence bandwidth for case 02.
- Repeat the above for case 03 and observe all the performance characteristics at the output.
NOTE: The velocity at which the receiver is moving can be negative i.e., the receiver is moving away from the transmitter and vice-versa.
