Two Ray Model based Wireless Channel

Instructions

To understand the various perfomance characteristics of a two ray model based wireless channel, follow thesed steps:

  1. Enter the values of the distance between transmitter and receiver (r), the velocity at which the receiver is moving (v) and the frequency of the input signal(f).
  2. Click on calculate to observe the doppler spread and coherence time for case 01.
  3. Enter the values of the distance between transmitter and receiver (r), the distance between the transmitter and the obstacle (d) and the frequency of the input signal(f)./li>
  4. Click on calculate to observe the delay spread and coherence bandwidth for case 02.
  5. Repeat the above for case 03 and observe all the performance characteristics at the output.

  6. NOTE: The velocity at which the receiver is moving can be negative i.e., the receiver is moving away from the transmitter and vice-versa.
