Thermal Conductivity of Metal Rod

Objective

To determine the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the metal rod and to measure the temperature gradient along the length of the metal rod.

apparatus

Diameter, d = 20mm

Length Interval = 70mm

Cp = 4.18kJ/kg-K

Length of shaded area = 300mm

The experiment is conducted in standard room temperature and pressure also ensuring there is a constant flow rate (Vf) of water.
