    Procedure to determine the wavelength of He-Ne laser using single slit diffraction.

  • Step 1: Click on the Power source button in order to start the laser light.
  • Step 2:As we start the Laser light source a we can adjust the distace between the slit and screen by just moving the slidr.
  • Step 3: Set the distance between the screen and the laser arbitrarily and take reading of D(distance from the scren and the slit).
  • Step 4: Now take reading of different maxima by just clicking and choosing the relevent maxima position.
  • Step 5: Fill these value in table and same way take reading for different value distance from the scren and the slit and note their maxima reading from side box and fill all the data in the table .
  • Step 6: Calculate the value of wavelength of He-Ne laser using single slit diffraction.
