Note: Use the input fields to enter the message frequency and the square pulse carrier frequency.
Step 1: Click the "Generate Message" button to generate the input message signal.
Step 2: Click the "Generate Carrier" button to generate the carrier signal. The carrier frequency must be greater than the message frequency. You can change the message and carrier frequencies using the input fields.
Step 3: Click the "Generate PAM Signal" button to generate the Pulse Amplitude Modulated (PAM) signal.
Step 4: Click the "Show Frequency Spectrums" button to view the spectrum of the PAM signal.
Instructions for Pulse Amplitude Demodulation
Step 1: The reconstruction filter is used to recover the original message signal from the sampled PAM signal (typically by multiplying with the carrier and then low-pass filtering)
Step 2: You can Demodulate the PAM Signal clicking on the 'Demodulate PAM Signal' button
A reconstruction filter is a low-pass filter (LPF) with cutoff at or just above the message frequency which passes only the baseband and blocks higher-frequency copies
