Instructions
Implement an RS Flip-Flop using logic gates
-
Click on components on the left side to add them to the
circuit board.
-
Drag and drop components to move them around, connect them
using wires by dragging your cursor from one endpoint to
another.
-
You can delete components by right clicking on them and
selecting the delete option.
-
You can set the input bits, which are by default 1, to any
values of your choice for testing, by clicking on them. Each
click toggles the bit between 1 and 0.
-
A single output point can drive several inputs: drag a new
wire from an output point that is already connected to
connect it to another component. A wire can be dragged from
an output point to an input point, or the other way round.
To delete a wire, right click on it and select the delete
option.
-
Initially, Q is in the SET state (Q = 1, Q' = 0) in every
task.
-
Click on the "Simulate" button to start the clock Clk. The
clock keeps running and the output bits follow the circuit
while you change the input bits. The button then shows
"Stop": click on it to stop the clock. Reset also stops it.
The "Submit" button is available only when the clock is
stopped.
-
Click on the "Submit" button to submit the circuit once you
think you have built the required circuit.
-
Clicking on "Submit" will display a "Success" or "Failure"
message in the Observations Section according to the
correctness of your circuit.
-
For the implementation of flip-flops, it will also display a
Truth Table verifying your circuit for different input values.
