    Procedure to Perform the hysteresis (B-H curve) of a specimen in the form of a transformer and determine its hysteresis loss.

  • Step 1: To measure the magnetic field generated in the solenoid
  • Step 2: Select Magnetic field Vs Current from the procedure selection-box.
  • Step 3: Click on probe to placing the probe in between the solenoid in the simulator.
  • Step 4: Using Current slider, varying the current through the solenoid and corresponding magnetic field is to be noted from Gauss meter.

    Procedure

  • Step 1: Click the connections to complete the circuit.
  • Step 2: Adjust the resistance slider to change resistance.
  • Step 3: Click "Start Simulation" to generate the results.
  • Step 4: View the final results after simulation.
