Instructions for Single Sideband Suppressed Carrier (SSB-SC) Modulation

  • Note: Use the sliders to input the message frequency and carrier frequency.
  • Step 1: Click the "Generate Message" button to create the input message signal based on the selected frequency.
  • Step 2: Click the "Generate Carrier" button to generate the carrier signal. The carrier frequency must be higher than the message frequency. You can adjust both using the sliders.
  • Step 3: Click the "Generate Upper SSB-SC Signal" button to produce the upper sideband SSB-SC signal.
  • Step 4: Click the "Generate Lower SSB-SC Signal" button to produce the lower sideband SSB-SC signal.
  • Step 5: Click the "Show Frequency Spectrums" button to visualize the frequency spectrum of the SSB-SC signal.

Instructions for SSBSC Demodulation

  • Step 1: Click on 'Generate Recovered Message Signal(from USB SSB-SC)' button to generate message signal from Upper Sideband SSB-SC Signal
  • Step 2: Click on 'Generate Recovered Message Signal(from LSB SSB-SC)' button to generate message signal from lower Sideband SSB-SC Signal
  • Step 3: Click on the 'Show Frequency Spectrums' button above to see spectra of the message, modulated, and demodulated signals
